Eve's Botanical Garden Entrance – The history of botanical gardens is closely linked to the history of botany or "plant science" more specifically, that branch of natural science and biology that deals with the study of plants especially their anatomy, taxonomy, and ecology. Botanical gardens have a very long history; in the 16th and 17th century many were medicinal gardens, however, their history stems back much further than that. In about 2800 BCE, the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung sent collectors out to distant regions searching for plants with economic or medicinal value.
Historically, there were many famous and very elaborate botanical gardens like "The hanging gardens of Babylon" Nevertheless, it's my personal belief that the Garden of Eden was the most magnificent botanical garden that ever existed for its majestic beauty, symmetry, and the fascinating allurement to the eyes, nose, and ears. This particular painting is a bit more than a scenic landscape designed for aesthetic enjoyment and relaxation; rather it's a three part series that will explain in greater detail the words previously written, while bringing a closer view inside the garden. From the entrance you get to see the "beauty in detail" inside this botanical garden.
